Abstract
Advanced knowledge of vascular anatomy of the body surface makes many kinds of arterial or arterialized flaps possible to achieve the goal for coverage of raw surface and reconstruction of soft tissue. Recently several laboratory reports about the effective vascular augmentation of the flap to the underlying avascular bed are impressive to us.

With expectation of the vascular augmentation of the flap, at 103rd F.H., R.O.K. Army, we have treated four cases of complicated wounds with the flaps; the first two cases of open tibia fracture with muscle flap, the third case of distal phalangeal necrosis of greater toe with arterial flap, and the forth case of unfavorable fingertip amputation with random flap,

These cases had revealed satisfactory results as well as without complication.
